Jaguars GM says team has entered ‘win now’ mode after Leonard Fournette pick
The Jacksonville Jaguars are ready to contend.
That’s the message Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell is sending after a busy offseason that culminated in the selection of running back Leonard Fournette No. 4 overall. Caldwell told SiriusXM NFL Radio that, with Fournette in the fold, the team has well and truly entered “win now” mode.
"Leonard's a guy we think can come in & make an immediate impact, we're in a 'win now' mode as we should be"

Is it a little overly ambitious? It may be. This is, after all, a team that went 3-13 last season. On the other hand, the AFC South is one of the NFL’s weaker divisions, but division rivals have improved. Jacksonville has definitely added some quality in the draft and some big names in free agency, but it may be a year too soon for them.
