Jaguars GM: Tom Coughlin will be candidate in coaching search
The Jacksonville Jaguars are making no secret of the fact that they want to talk to Tom Coughlin about their head coaching gig.
Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell said Monday that Coughlin would be on the list of potential coaches.

Dave Caldwell says they're interested in taking to Coughlin. Rumblings have been the interest would be mutual. Here we go.

This doesn’t come as a huge surprise. In fact, it’s been reported before. Coughlin would be one of the more established candidates Jacksonville could probably attract at this point, though he’s certainly not a long-term fix.
Coughlin was let go by the Giants after three consecutive losing seasons, including a 6-10 campaign last year. The 70-year-old coach was the first in the Jaguars’ team history, and he took them to the playoffs four straight seasons, though that streak began 20 years ago. He is the franchise’s winningest coach.
