Jalen Hurts got the last laugh on Jeffery Simmons this week.
Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles played on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. In the end, it was Philadelphia who pulled out a 24-20 victory after their star quarterback Hurts threw a game-winning touchdown with nine seconds left in the game to wide receiver Darius Cooper.

After the final whistle at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn., Hurts was giving his postgame interview to FOX’s Kristina Pink. In the middle of the interview, the Titans defensive tackle Simmons walked up to Hurts to exchange some pleasanties.
Hurts responded by telling Simmons, “You started that s–t. I had to finish.”

The former Super Bowl MVP Hurts was referring to some comments that Simmons made prior to Sunday’s game. Simmons told reporters during the week that Titans planned to make Hurts “be a quarterback.”

"We just need to make Jalen Hurts be a quarterback. Stop his runs, make sure he doesn't get out of the pocket and make plays."
Hurts threw three TD inside the pocket in week 1. Can't wait to see him dice up this Titans…
In response, Hurts threw for 264 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday (including the game-winning score). While Hurts did also fire two interceptions to the Tennessee defense, this is not the first time that the four-time NFL Pro Bowler Simmons has gotten himself into trouble with his mouth.
