Several NFL teams are doing their due diligence on quarterbacks, and that includes checking in on Alabama’s Jalen Milroe.
The New York Giants, Los Angeles Rams, and Seattle Seahawks have scheduled meetings with Milroe this week, according to Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports. The Cleveland Browns have already met with Milroe.

Notably, all three of these teams are in the market for long-term quarterbacks they can develop. The Giants select No. 3 overall and may go quarterback at that spot, though it would not be for Milroe. The same goes for Cleveland at No. 2.
The Seahawks and Rams are particularly interesting. They may be looking at Milroe as a potential Day 2 pick, though it is clearly possible that he goes late in the first round. The Rams are essentially operating on a year-to-year basis with Matthew Stafford at this point, while Sam Darnold is not necessarily locked in for multiple years with the Seahawks.
There are certainly some doubts about Milroe’s NFL potential, but he flashed enough at Alabama that someone will take a chance on his talent. Teams clearly view him as a project, but potentially one worth investing significant draft capital into.
