Watch: Jalen Ramsey showed up to training camp in armored money truck
Jalen Ramsey is one of several star players who are openly seeking long-term contract extensions this offseason, but the All-Pro cornerback made what will likely be the loudest statement across the NFL with the way he showed up to training camp on Wednesday.
Ramsey arrived to training camp in the back of a money truck — literally. He had someone give him a WWE-style introduction using a megaphone before he jumped out of the back of what was essentially a Brinks truck. Check it out:
Jalen Ramsey’s entrance to training camp was…. Well it was..

Ramsey, a former first-round pick, still has two years remaining on his rookie contract. That doesn’t give him much leverage, but he isn’t going to let up until the Jags give him what he wants. Tom Coughlin appeared to call him out for skipping voluntary workouts earlier in the offseason, so you can only imagine how the Jaguars president feels about the stunt Ramsey pulled on Wednesday.
Between the training camp entrance and the tweet Ramsey sent about his contract situation, it is clear he is committed to making as much noise as he has to in order to get paid. It will be interesting to see if that helps or hurts his chances of getting a new deal.
