Ja’Marr Chase was indeed down there somewhere during Sunday’s game.
The Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chase produced an absolutely mind-numbing touchdown grab on Sunday against the Houston Texans. In the second quarter at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas, Chase went long on a 1st-and-10 play from the Texans’ 32-yard line, and Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow aired it out towards the corner of the end zone.
In an absurd feat of athleticism and body control, Chase turned himself around (after getting bumped by Texans cornerback Derek Stingley Jr) and adjusted to make the catch. Even more ridiculous was that Chase managed to perfectly get both of his feet inbounds in the end zone for the touchdown, despite having very limited real estate to work with.

The five-time Pro Bowler Chase, 26, produced 1,412 receiving yards and eight receiving touchdowns last season despite Burrow missing most of the year because of a toe injury. Now Chase is back for more in 2026, turning in perhaps the most impressive catch of his career during Sunday’s game (likely beating out the time that he caught a ball while also somehow holding a mouthguard).
