James Conner appears to have chance of playing in Week 17
James Conner appears to have a realistic chance of playing in Week 17 for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said that Conner is questionable for the team’s game on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. Tomlin said they would be watching Conner closely.
#Steelers coach Mike Tomlin told reporters today on RB James Conner: “We’ll be watching him close and seeing if he’s going to be a positive contributor to our efforts this week.“ At the least, my understanding is that he has a realistic chance of playing.

Conner has not played since injuring his knee during a Week 13 loss to the Chargers. Jaylen Samuels and Stevan Ridley have seen action since Conner has been hurt, though we’re guessing Ridley won’t be doing much against Cincinnati after the big mistake he made in Week 16.
Pittsburgh needs a win and Baltimore loss to make the playoffs.
