Man who died at Janoris Jenkins’ home was family friend Roosevelt Rene

The man who was found dead at the New Jersey home of Janoris Jenkins on Tuesday has been identified as 25-year-old Roosevelt Rene, a family friend.

NorthJersey.com’s Keldy Ortiz reports that Rene had been living at the Fair Lawn home.

No details about how he died have been released, though one report said authorities were investigating whether there was strangulation or suffocation.

Jenkins, a defensive back for the New York Giants, is believed to have been in his offseason home in Florida when the death occurred. The Giants are said to be monitoring the situation.
