Jarvis Landry blew up on sidelines during Dolphins’ win
Jarvis Landry apparently had a meltdown on the sidelines during his Miami Dolphins’ 15-13 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
Landry caught a season-low two passes for just five yards in the victory as the Dolphins opted for a run-heavy attack against Baltimore. He was pretty frustrated with the way things were going during the first half and had a blowup on the sidelines, the Miami Herald reports.
The Herald’s Adam Beasley reported:
“[Landry] went off on the sideline after one of the Dolphins’ four failed first-half possessions, several sources tell the Miami Herald. Landry threw his helmet in anger, vented about the Dolphins’ lifeless offense and needed several teammates to calm him down.”
Landry was coming off a game where he had 13 catches for 165 yards and a touchdown, so it’s understandable why he’d be frustrated over a lack of targets and the team not moving the ball. Also consider that his great stats the week before came in a bad loss to the Jets, while the poor stats came in a win, and you have to question his priorities.
The Dolphins were already concerned about Landry’s behavior prior to this. Acts like this certainly won’t help his standing with the team.
