Jarvis Landry makes interesting revelation in Twitter rant against Browns
Jarvis Landry is entering the final season of his contract, and it sounds like the star receiver knows his days with the Cleveland Browns could be numbered.
Landry took to Twitter on Tuesday and shared some interesting information about how he played through a significant injury in 2021. The veteran missed four games early in the year after suffering what he described as a “high grade” MCL sprain and partial quad tear. Landry says he came back too soon, which resulted in him having to play hurt.
Landry added that he wants to remain in Cleveland but is confident he can succeed elsewhere.
1/2 Reality behind all this is I came back to play in the best shape of my life, I got hurt week 2 with a high grade MCL Sprain,Partial quad tear and bone bruise. Then came back way to early and ended up staying hurt the entire season. You never heard me mention anything about it

2/3 Also my media availability didn’t happen because I was focused on getting on the field as healthy as possible during the week and after games.. a strategic plan was set in place to be followed. I put the ball in CLE court by telling them I would like to stay but if not then

3/3 I have put the ball in CLE court by telling them I would like to stay but if not then I’m confident enough in myself to be a better healthy me this year and moving forward to helping do my part in winning a championship elsewhere.

Apparently Landry feels there are people questioning his ability to stay healthy. He then mentioned how he never missed a game due to injury in his entire career prior to 2021.
Before this year I missed 0 games. So push y’all narrative, it’s noted ✊🏾✊🏾

The rant seemingly came out of nowhere. Landry is set to count roughly $16 million against the salary cap in 2022. He caught just 52 passes for 570 yards and two touchdowns, so it’s possible he is anticipating that the Browns will release him.
Landry had over 1,000 yards receiving in 2019. He also had two 1,000-yard seasons with the Miami Dolphins prior to signing with the Browns. Cleveland’s offense was a mess this season, so Landry’s disappointing production is not entirely his fault. The 29-year-old should draw plenty of interest if he becomes a free agent.
