The New York Giants had an enormous scare from quarterback Jaxson Dart during Saturday’s preseason game.
Dart had to go to the medical tent after being sacked by Minnesota safety Jay Ward at the end of the first quarter of Saturday’s preseason game at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. Ward was able to get through to Dart after running back Tyrone Tracy missed a blitz pickup.

Dart was an alarmingly frequent visitor to the blue tent last season, so the last thing the Giants would have wanted would be to see him make a trip there in the preseason opener. In this instance, the trip was a brief one, but the team will not feel great about it.
Ultimately, Dart did not stick around for too long. He completed three of his four passes for 75 yards and a touchdown, but was sacked twice in his brief action.
