Jerry Jones gives Jason Garrett vote of confidence
The Dallas Cowboys were eliminated from playoff contention in an ugly 21-12 loss on Sunday, but it doesn’t sound likely to cost Jason Garrett his job.
Owner Jerry Jones was quick to offer praise for Garrett after the game despite a bad home defeat to end their playoff hopes.
Jerry Jones gives his endorsement for Jason Garrett’s status as head coach moving forward. Not as clear about the staff:
“I do understand frustration right after you lose this game. I’ve been around a lot of head coaches and coordinators — and I know we have a good head coach.”

Jones has been steadfast in his support for Garrett, though there have been rumblings of discontent behind the scenes. It’s safe to say he’ll get at least another year as long as Jones is making the call, though.
