Report: Jim Caldwell gets third NFL head coaching interview
Jim Caldwell is looking to land another head coaching job in the NFL after he took a season off in 2018, and it sounds like plenty of teams are at least interested in hearing what he has to say.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Caldwell interviewed for the Arizona Cardinals’ head coaching job on Thursday. He previously interviewed with the Green Bay Packers and Cleveland Browns and could sit down with the New York Jets next.

Caldwell coached the Detroit Lions for four seasons from 2014-2017 and finished with a record of 36-28, bringing the team to the playoffs twice. He was also the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts from 2009-2011, where Peyton Manning helped lead the team to a Super Bowl in 2009.
Teams looking for a candidate with head coaching experience could probably do worse than Caldwell, though hiring him likely would not be the big splash many fans hope for.
