Joe Burrow shares message after Bengals fall in Super Bowl

Joe Burrow took some time to address the people after his team came up short in the Super Bowl this year.

Following the Cincinnati Bengals’ 23-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI, Burrow shared a message on Twitter.

“Sorry we couldn’t get it done,” Burrow wrote. “Proud of our team and our fans. Love these guys.”

Burrow doesn’t have much to hang his head about. He went 22-of-33 in the Super Bowl for 263 yards and a touchdown, putting the team in a position to win before the Rams’ final drive. Though Burrow was sacked a whopping seven times, the Rams’ robust pass rush gave opponents fits all season.

The 25-year-old Burrow also displayed plenty of grit during the game and can now look ahead to a 2022 campaign where the Bengals should once again be a favorite in the AFC.
