Joey Bosa has not played in 2018 due to a foot injury he suffered prior to the start of the season, but the Los Angeles Chargers only expect to be without the star pass-rusher for one more game.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Bosa is planning to return when the Chargers face the Seattle Seahawks on Nov. 4. That will be in Week 9, when L.A. comes out of its Week 8 bye. Sources told Schefter that Bosa has looked good while running and training the past two weeks and appears to be rounding back into form.
Bosa admitted earlier this month that he is unlikely to play before the bye, which was not a surprise considering the Chargers are facing the Tennessee Titans in London on Sunday. He was never going to make that trip, but it’s a positive sign that he should be able to play in two weeks.

While the early timelines for Bosa’s return were obviously too optimistic, the 4-2 Chargers have played well enough in his absence. They rank 13th in the NFL in overall defense despite playing without a defensive end who has 23 sacks through his first 28 NFL games.
