John Fox has no worries about future NFL employment

John Fox

Chicago Bears coach John Fox is probably well aware of the fact that his job is in serious jeopardy ahead of the final game of the 2017 season, but he’s not sweating his future prospects.

Fox said Tuesday that he is ignoring the speculation about his future — and isn’t worried about finding a new job if he does find himself unemployed next week.

“I don’t worry about it. I’ve never had trouble getting employment in this league, and I’m not going to start worrying about it now,” Fox said, via Mark Potash of the Chicago Sun-Times. “It’s not my first rodeo, you know. I’ve been doing this for [29] years and [16] as a head coach, so this is par for the course in this league. I think there’s a lot of different speculation every year, and this year is no different.”

Fox’s coaching staff reportedly already thinks he’s on the way out the door, so it would stand to reason that the head coach himself probably knows the score.
