John Harbaugh disagrees with Lamar Jackson about taking Titans lightly
Lamar Jackson caused a bit of a stir when he said that the Baltimore Ravens had taken the Tennessee Titans too lightly before the playoff loss in January, and it’s an assertion his coach doesn’t quite agree with.
John Harbaugh was asked about Jackson’s comments on Monday, and he said that while Jackson has a right to his opinion, Harbaugh doesn’t think a lack of preparedness cost the Ravens.
John Harbaugh has no issue w Lamar Jackson saying #Ravens may have been “peeking ahead” in upset playoff loss vs Titans: “I respect his opinion on it.” But Harbaugh also disagrees: “I don’t think we took them lightly personally. We just didn’t play well.”https://t.co/jMoo89vkEb

Harbaugh can’t have been too thrilled to hear his quarterback say the team wasn’t mentally ready for a playoff game, whether Jackson meant it that way or not. It sounds like an indictment of both the coaching staff and the players to put it that way.
Jackson made it clear that the team has learned a lesson from that loss. Harbaugh will hope so, because this isn’t something he’ll want to address again.
