Johnny Manziel hopped on a flight Tuesday and headed to Cabo San Lucas. He was spotted at the airport rocking the jersey of close friend and former teammate Josh Gordon, and Manziel gave Gordon a shoutout when he got to his hotel.
Manziel posted a photo on Instagram and said he is going to keep Gordon’s jersey on for a week. He also said some stuff about a comeback, though it’s unclear if he meant his own, Gordon’s, or both.
Gordon probably has a better chance of coming back at this point than Manziel, and that is taking into account the wide receiver’s most recent failed drug test.
