New England Patriots cornerback Jonathan Jones delivered a hit on Josh Allen that landed the Buffalo Bills’ quarterback in the concussion protocol, but will not be punished for it.
Jones was not fined by the NFL for his hit on Allen, with the league determining that Allen was not a defenseless runner and that Jones turned his shoulder to bring Allen down.

The hit knocked Allen out of the game, and essentially went unpunished at that time, too. Considering one Bills player publicly fumed at the lack of consequence for it, the lack of retroactive action by the NFL is likely to infuriate them even more.
