Joseph Randle charged for ripping TV off wall in jail
Former Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle threw his NFL career away by not being able to stay out of trouble off the field. Apparently being behind bars hasn’t helped.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Randle was charged with criminal damage to property stemming from a July 28 incident in which he allegedly ripped a TV off the wall at the Sedgwick County Jail. Randle reportedly became furious because he wanted to watch a certain show and was not permitted to do so.
Fellow inmates supposedly ratted Randle out because they were angry he destroyed the TV, which was said to be damaged beyond repair.
Randle’s history of legal trouble is very extensive. He’s currently in jail because he allegedly hit people with his car over a drinking game gone wrong. Prior to the TV incident, Randle was accused of threatening to kill a deputy who denied him a phone call while he was in custody.
Needless to say, the 24-year-old will likely never play another snap in the NFL again.
