Former Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle has been ordered to receive mental health treatment at an inpatient facility, and you will understand why when you hear the alleged details from one of his latest arrests.
Randle was arrested on charges of aggravated battery and drug possession last month after he allegedly tried to hit people with his car. It turns out he did more than just try, as the 24-year-old reportedly hit one man while driving between 20 and 30 mph and sent the victim over the top of the car. When others came over to help, Randle allegedly struck again and hit two more people.
According to a police report obtained by TMZ, witnesses say Randle’s fit of rage began when he was angry over a beer pong game at a housewarming party in Kansas. Here are some more details:
But an argument broke out about who won the match — with Randle pushing the opposing player onto the balcony of the home. The other man apologized and the situation was briefly diffused.
But Randle then went downstairs and continued acting aggressive — so the party hosts asked him to leave.
Instead, cops say Randle ran back upstairs and attacked party guests — until several people wrangled Randle and literally pushed him out of the home.
Randle attacked people with his car after that, sending one female victim to the hospital after she allegedly lost consciousness several times.
Randle remains in jail on $150,000 bond after he was arrested once again over the weekend for failing to appear in court, where he was due so a judge could order him to receive treatment.
