Josh Gordon’s comeback season is over.
Gordon will miss the remainder of the year after the New England Patriots placed him on injured reserve due to a lingering knee injury.

Gordon left the Patriots’ game against the New York Giants on Oct. 10 with what at the time seemed to be a minor injury. It turns out that it’s a pretty significant blow, and Gordon won’t play again in 2019.
The 28-year-old was having a respectable comeback season for New England. In six games, he made 20 catches for 287 yards, and he found the end zone twice this season — once rushing, once receiving. He’ll look to get himself ready for 2020 now.
