Josh Gordon to visit specialist about his hamstring injury
Josh Gordon will visit a specialist to learn more about his hamstring injury.
The Cleveland Browns announced on Saturday that they were parting ways with Gordon, hours after he reportedly showed up late to the facility and not looking like himself. Gordon had been ruled out for Sunday’s game due to a hamstring injury that seemed to pop up out of nowhere after he had practiced all week and was not listed on the injury report.
Now as he seeks a new team, NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport says Gordon will visit a specialist to learn the severity of the injury.
As his future hangs in the balance, with the #Browns hoping to trade him, WR Josh Gordon is traveling tonight to see a specialist tomorrow to learn the severity of his hamstring injury, source said. The hope is it’s minor, but tests will tell all.

Gordon dealt with the hamstring injury before the season and was supposed to be on a limited snap count in Week 1, but he played a full slate of snaps. Reports said Gordon injured his hamstring on a promotional shoot. He is said to have the most interest in two NFC teams.
