JuJu Smith-Schuster has missed the Pittsburgh Steelers’ last three games as he dealt with a concussion and a knee injury, and he was originally slated to return on Sunday night against the Buffalo Bills. However, the star wide receiver suffered a setback in practice this week.
Smith-Schuster aggravated his knee injury and is not expected to play in Week 15, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.

It’s good news that Smith-Schuster has been cleared from the concussion protocol, as he took two brutal hits to the head from defenders on the same play in Week 11. However, if his knee was feeling better and then began bothering him again, that does not bode well for Smith-Schuster’s availability the rest of the season.
Smith-Schuster was averaging just 3.8 catches per game prior to getting injured, so he is having a down season. He has 524 receiving yards and three touchdowns on the year.
