Julian Edelman had the most wholesome Bill Belichick tribute
Former New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman tugged on some Pats fans’ heartstrings on Thursday with his post dedicated to departing Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.
The Patriots announced on Thursday that Belichick and the team had mutually agreed to part ways. The news has led to an outpouring of tributes from fans, players, and even some guy named Tom Brady.
Brady went the more traditional route with a heartfelt caption alongside a memorable snapshot with Belichick.
Edelmen went differently and posted a minute-long video montage highlighting some of his best moments with the legendary Patriots coach.
“You gave me the best year of my life. I’d do anything for you, coach. I’d do anything for you,” Edelman told Belichick in the first clip, which featured the two embracing after Super Bowl 49.

Edelman spent his entire NFL career with the Patriots as one of Brady’s most trustworthy targets.
Edelman never made a Pro Bowl appearance. But he did win 3 Super Bowls and the MVP trophy from Super Bowl 53 against the Los Angeles Rams. Edelman caught 620 passes for 6,822 with 36 touchdowns in 11 seasons with the Patriots.
