10 days after we learned that Roddy White’s brother had been shot and killed outside a nightclub in South Carolina, a report says the brother of another top Atlanta Falcons wide receiver has been shot.
FOX 10 TV in Mobile, Ala., says Julio Jones’ 31-year-old brother, Phillip, was shot in Gulf shores on Tuesday. He was taken to an urgent care facility and then transported to a hospital in Pensacola, Fla.
FOX 10 says Jones’ arm had to be removed due to injuries sustained from the gunshot wound.
The suspect in the shooting is 53-year-old George Bennett Sutton, who has been arrested and booked on charges of first-degree assault.
