Justin Jefferson faked out his own general manager with a great prank.
NFL on Amazon Prime’s X account shared a video on Thursday of the trick they pulled on Kwesi Adofo-Mensah using Jefferson. They had Jefferson dress up in disguise as a photographer to take pictures of Adofo-Mensah for Amazon’s NFL coverage. Jefferson, posing as a photographer, was making plenty of comments to Adofo-Mensah, who had no idea he was talking to his wide receiver.
Then finally at the end of the video came the great payoff.

Adofo-Mensah had no idea he was talking to Jefferson until the very end. The moment he realized it was great.
Adofo-Mensah was hired by the Vikings in January 2022, after Jefferson had already established himself as a star wide receiver for the team. He gave Jefferson a 4-year, $140 million contract extension in June 2024, so the two are intimately familiar with each other. This just goes to show that if you’re not paying close attention to something, it can slip under your nose easily.
