The Shanahan family definitely has some lingering hard feelings against the Washington Redskins organization, if their actions after Sunday’s win are any indication.
In an ugly, rain-soaked game, the San Francisco 49ers managed to beat the Redskins 9-0 on Sunday. After that win, coach Kyle Shanahan shared the game ball with his father, Mike, who was fired by Washington in 2013.

Dan Snyder is not exactly a popular guy, and both Shanahans may well feel they got a raw deal in Washington. Many would disagree — a lot of fans blame Mike Shanahan for the fact that Robert Griffin III was hit by injuries and never the same — but they would feel otherwise.
Want another indication that the Shanahans are a bit chilly toward the Redskins franchise? All you have to do is check out what Kyle said about working for them and you’ll get the idea.
