La’el Collins meets with Rex Ryan, has heard from nearly all NFL teams
La’el Collins is the hottest undrafted free agent on the market and already is drawing tons of attraction from NFL teams.
Collins, an OL from LSU, was expected to be a first-round draft pick until a serious legal matter arose. Police detectives in Baton Rouge wanted to talk with him about the murder of his ex-girlfriend.
As of Monday, he was not considered a suspect, so NFL officials are planning to meet with him.
The Baton Rouge Advocate reports that Collins has heard from nearly all NFL teams and that he has meetings planned with the Bills and Dolphins. Multiple reporters say Bills head coach Rex Ryan was in the area and met Collins for dinner:

Once the NFL clears Collins, he will probably go to either the highest bidder, or the situation he feels is best for him. He’ll actually have more leverage than you would think.
