Lamar Jackson and Odell Beckham Jr. forced viewers to do a double-take with what they said during their player introductions for “Sunday Night Football.”
NBC aired their customary introductions during the first quarter of the Week 15 game between the Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonville Jaguars at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla. When it was time to share the intros for the Ravens’ offense, Jackson and Beckham stood out.
Jackson said “ball ’til you fall” rather than name his college, which is Louisville. And Beckham said “Himothy University” rather than LSU.

Beckham’s choice of phrases was a play on the popularity of the slang word “Him,” which is what many athletes say when they are feeling on top of the world (“I’m him”).
Beckham is known for being a character, so seeing him go off-script for his intro was not surprising. Jackson going with his “ball ’til you fall” intro was a surprise. He knows how to keep people on their toes.
