Landon Collins wants to knock over Giants’ GM
It’s fair to say that Landon Collins is not a fan of New York Giants GM Dave Gettleman.
The safety, who left the Giants for the Washington Redskins this past offseason, said that if he caught a glimpse of Gettleman on the New York sideline while playing them, he’d try to get an excuse to swoop in and knock him off his feet.

“I would try to tell one of my defensive back coaches to throw the ball in that direction and give a nice little thud, a little run-over, a quick little ‘uhh,’ something like that,” Collins said. “I’m going to make it real subtle, you know? I don’t think he’s got the skill level to stay on his feet.”
Collins seems to be joking here, but it’s not exactly a great look either way. The veteran safety didn’t seem to get a competitive offer to stay in New York, and ultimately opted to join a division rival in Washington. Collins has publicly called Gettleman a liar over matters that didn’t even have anything to do with him. It’s quite obvious there’s no love lost here, and with Collins poised to face the Giants twice a season, those could be some serious revenge games.
