The New York Giants have added a new player to their defense as training camp gets underway.
The Giants and linebacker Connor Barwin agreed to a two-year deal worth up to $5 million according to reports.
Barwin, who had five sacks last season for the Rams, said last month that he only wanted to sign with a contender. Either he’s dropped his standard or he thinks the Giants can win the Super Bowl.
The 31-year-old did not grade out well via Pro Football Focus last season, but his 17 sacks over the past three seasons suggest he can still get to the quarterback well.
