LeGarrette Blount and Brandon Bolden both tweeted to address/apologize for the Marshawn Lynch T-shirt they were seen holding up during the Patriots’ championship parade Wednesday.
Both Bolden and Blount were seen holding up shirts that said, “Bitch Mode” on them, which was a reference to Lynch’s “Beast Mode” nickname.
After he started receiving attention for the shirt, Blount tweeted to say he has a lot of respect for Lynch:

About this shirt.. Just so ppl know, I have 100% respect for @MoneyLynch and how he plays the game. There's a reason he's called #BeastMode

A day later Bolden apologized for the shirt:
I apologize for holding up that t shirt. I have tons of respect for @MoneyLynch and his game. This was a childish and classless act by me

Well sheesh, Bolden, you don’t need to flog yourself for it. We all get it — when you’re in your environment and among your fans, you act much differently than you do when you’re speaking to the media. We don’t hold things against you the same way when it’s said at a parade or rally. The apology was unnecessary.
