The Detroit Lions on Monday completed their first trade with the New England Patriots since new GM Bob Quinn took over.
Quinn, a former Patriots employee, acquired linebacker Jon Bostic for a 7th-round pick, per NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.
Bostic, a former second-round pick by the Chicago Bears in 2013, only recorded two tackles last season as he recovered from a back injury that appeared to limit him. He did have success in Chicago, however, prior to his trade to New England.
Bostic recorded 57 tackles, a sack and an interception in his rookie season, and he had 83 tackles in 2014.
