Mac Jones welcomes DeVante Parker to Patriots
Mac Jones seems pretty happy about his newest weapon.
The New England Patriots on Saturday acquired receiver DeVante Parker in a trade with the Miami Dolphins. New England had been looking for an upgrade to their receiving options and found one.
Jones showed his excitment over the deal with a tweet directed at his new teammate:
“Let’s go!! Welcome to NEP! @DeVanteParker11,” Jones tweeted.

New England’s leading receivers last year were Jakobi Meyers (83 catches for 866 yards) and Kendrick Bourne (55 catches for 800 yards). Tight end Hunter Henry was their main red-zone threat with 9 touchdown catches.
Parker, who had 72 catches for 1,202 yards and 9 touchdowns in 2019, certainly could end up as New England’s top receiver next season. It’s easy to see why Jones is excited to welcome him to the team.
