Malcolm Jenkins wanted Eagles to go all-out with Super Bowl rings
The Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl rings feature 219 diamonds and 17 green sapphires, and none of that seems excessive to Malcolm Jenkins.
The Eagles safety spoke with reporters on Thursday night at the team’s ring-unveiling event. He said that team owner Jeffrey Lurie asked the players whether they wanted modest rings, and their answer was no.
He added a great quote, too. “It’s the first time so act like we’ve never been here before.”

True enough. Though it’s the second Super Bowl ring for Jenkins, it’s the first for the Eagles. The rings absolutely should be loaded because the team earned it. Here are some more cool details about the rings.
