Mario Williams isn’t happy in Buffalo and may not be there next season, according to a report.
NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reports that there is a “clear, fundamental disconnect” between Rex Ryan and his defensive line, with Williams at the center of it. The 30-year-old has had a rough season trying to fit into Ryan’s defensive scheme, and in October, he was openly critical of it.

Rapoport notes that Williams is much easier to get rid of than Ryan if they can’t coexist, and the defensive end is probably a restructuring candidate anyway, so Buffalo may well choose to just cut bait and move on during the offseason.
