The Seattle Seahawks are hoping the return of Marshawn Lynch will help propel them to another Super Bowl, and the veteran running back could turn out to be the biggest bargain of the season if that happens.
The Seahawks will pay Lynch slightly more than $60,000 for being on the roster in Week 17, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports. The 33-year-old will then get his playoff share plus whatever money he makes in new endorsement opportunities, such as with his “Unfinished Business” apparel.
For his return to Seattle, #Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch will make $60,588 in Week 17, plus whatever the playoff share ends up being… plus his share of online sales of “Unfinished business” and “Back in Action” apparel on his website.

In some ways, it is already like Lynch never left Seattle. After he officially re-signed with the Seahawks, Lynch met with the media for an extremely brief time and dropped an Eddie Murphy quote.
Lynch was a fan favorite during his time with the Seahawks from 2010-2015, and he has a chance to step right back into that role. Seattle has been decimated by injuries at the running back position, with Chris Carson, Rashaad Penny and CJ Prosise all out for the season. Assuming Lynch has remained in shape, he may be asked to carry a big workload.
