Report: Marshawn Lynch, Raiders in dispute over money
As is so often the case when two sides negotiate but fail to reach a deal, it looks like the dividing issue between the Raiders and Marshawn Lynch is money.
According to the San Francisco Chronicle’s Vic Tafur, the Raiders want to pay Lynch a third of the $9 million the back was set to make from the Seahawks. Lynch reportedly is balking at taking less than half of that amount.
Marshawn Lynch's Seattle deal would pay him $9 mi in 2017. Raiders want to pay him 1/3 that while Lynch is balking at taking less than half.

Lynch wants to play for the Raiders, but the money has to be worth his while considering he sat out all of last season.
Once the sides agree to a contract, a trade between the Raiders and Seahawks is expected to be worked out. The Raiders are trying to pressure Lynch into agreeing to a deal with them prior to the draft.
