Report: Martavis Bryant struggling with Raiders’ playbook
The Oakland Raiders were hoping Martavis Bryant would add a different dynamic to their passing game this season, but early indications are that he’s having big problems fitting in.
Former Raiders wide receiver James Jones said on NFL Network Wednesday that Bryant is having major difficulties coming to grips with the team’s playbook, and that he’s currently being lined up in one spot.
Martavis Bryant is "not able to grasp the playbook" how the Raiders want, according to @89JonesNTAF on @nflnetwork just now,
"They've only got him lined up in one spot to try and slow it down."
Yikes.

Bryant has already been explicitly called out by his coach, and this report isn’t making things look any better for him. Expectations were high for him after being acquired from Pittsburgh, but the reality is he appears to be well behind.
