Marvin Lewis hints that Hue Jackson could return to Bengals
Hue Jackson and Marvin Lewis go back a long way, so when Teryl Austin was fired as Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator with Lewis taking up the role, some eyebrows were raised.
Lewis did nothing to dispel the chatter about Jackson potentially returning to Cincinnati during his Monday press conference, when he refused to rule out bringing in the former Cleveland Browns coach to help run the team.
Marvin Lewis asked how he'll do both jobs: "I have a plan. Watch and see."
Marvin Lewis then asked if Hue Jackson will be brought in to help: "(Smiles) Watch and see." #Bengals

The Bengals have an offensive coordinator in Bill Lazor, but there isn’t really anything stopping Lewis from bringing someone on as a general assistant to help run things. Given the added responsibility, he may do just that.
Remember, there were rumors that the Bengals would want to bring Jackson back as head coach last year, so he has fans in the organization beyond Lewis. It would be a very unusual setup, and for now remains speculation, but it’s speculation Lewis is doing nothing to quiet.
