Matt Flynn had great response to Brock Osweiler’s contract
Up until Wednesday, Matt Flynn was the poster child for quarterbacks who had a few good games and used them to cash in big-time on the free agent market.
Wednesday, however, was the day that the Houston Texans gave Brock Osweiler $72 million despite having just seven career starts to his name. Flynn had a priceless response to that deal.
Wow I know I'm going to get killed for this and I don't have a lot of room to talk, but this latest QB contract is unbelievable…….. ?

Flynn, as you may recall, knows what this is like to a certain extent. He famously parlayed a remarkable start against the Detroit Lions into a three year, $26 million deal with the Seattle Seahawks in 2012. He lost out to then-rookie quarterback Russell Wilson in a training camp battle and was offloaded a year later after throwing just nine passes for Seattle.
For this exact reason, the haters came out in force against Flynn for this tweet, but he knew it was coming and wasn’t worried.
@AseStyles @NinersNation shhhhhhh

Would it have helped if I said "with all due respect?" #RickyBobby

Flynn probably wishes he’d come up with that game against the Lions – in which he set the Packers single game franchise record for passing yards and touchdowns with 480 and 6, respectively – four years later. He really could’ve gotten paid.
