Michael Bennett police video shows NFL star handcuffed on ground
Michael Bennett was handcuffed by Las Vegas police following the Floyd Mayweather-Conor McGregor fight in Las Vegas, and some video footage shows the Seattle Seahawks star pleading with an officer and asking what he did wrong.
Bennet said in a statement Wednesday that he and a group of people were running away from an area where someone reported hearing gunshots when officers confronted and assaulted him for being “a black man in the wrong place at the wrong time.” A video released by TMZ shows Bennett being handcuffed:

Bennet said an officer pointed a gun at his head and threatened to “blow my f—ing head off,” though the video does not show that exchange. The 31-year-old has hired a civil rights attorney and is considering filing a lawsuit.
According to Bennett’s attorney, Bennett was released from custody when police confirmed he was an NFL player. So far there has been no explanation for why he was handcuffed.
