Mike Tomlin gets in middle of Steelers’ WR Twitter exchange
Mike Tomlin had to step in and separate his players after a few got into a Twitter fight on Friday night.
The Steelers selected JuJu Smith-Schuster with their second-round pick in the draft, No. 62 overall. Smith-Schuster is a wide receiver, meaning Pittsburgh will have extra competition at the spot.
The recently reinstated WR Martavis Bryant responded to the pick and said that Smith-Schuster wasn’t taking his spot on the roster. Instead, he said it was Sammie Coates who needed to watch out.

Coates responded on Twitter by laughing.
Then Tomlin stepped in, telling his players to play nicely.
Play nice boys. @ThaBestUNO @sammiecoates11

Even though you don’t want to see your players fighting on social media, Tomlin may secretly like their competitive attitudes.
