There don’t seem to be any issues between New England patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and quarterback Drake Maye, at least according to both of the involved parties.
A report came on The Greg Hill Show stating that Vrabel doesn’t view Maye as “his guy.”
However, Vrabel shut down that narrative entirely on Wednesday.
“Unnamed sources? Let me just tell you why I’m here. I’m here because Drake was the QB. Believe it or not, I had choices to where I wanted to coach. I wanted to coach here because Drake was the QB,” Vrabel said.

"Coach Vrabel's been one of the best football coaches I've had in my life. I think one of the biggest things why this has been so enjoyable for me is playing for Coach, and I think we all feel that way…
Maye has gotten off to a rough start after leading New England to the Super Bowl last season, but at least publicly, there don’t seem to be any issues between the QB and HC in Foxborough.
