Report: Mike Williams taking part in Chargers practice
Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Mike Williams looks to be inching closer to his NFL debut.
Williams was reportedly set to be at least a partial participant in Friday’s practice for the first time since training camp opened.
Looks like #Chargers WR Mike Williams will take part in some practice today. Has been out since May with herniated disc in lower back.

Williams obviously will not play Sunday. Even if he was a full participant, he hasn’t practiced since May and will not be physically ready on such short notice. That said, he’s been off the PUP list for a while, so a debut is likely within a couple weeks, barring setbacks.
