Myles Garrett had a breakout year in his second NFL season and showed off the skills that inspired the Cleveland Browns to draft him with the No. 1 overall pick two years ago, but the star defensive tackle may feel he is not getting the credit he deserves.
NFL Network released its annual Top 100 list this week, and Garrett just barely cracked the top 50. After he saw that he came in at No. 49, he promised that will be the lowest he is ever ranked going forward.

Garrett made the Pro Bowl last year and ranked seventh in the NFL with 13.5 sacks, so you could make the argument that he should have been higher on the list. If he has that same kind of performance again in 2019, he likely will be. The Browns have been easily the most hyped team of the offseason, and more eyes will be on them this season.
Judging by what he said last month about Cleveland’s new defense, Garrett likely believes he is capable of making even more of an impact this year than he did last season. If he can stay healthy, we wouldn’t bet against it.
