At least some within the NFL are downright terrified of Tom Brady.
With his Deflategate suspension behind him and the Patriots quarterback set to return Sunday, rival coaches are a bit worried at what the angry version of Brady might have in store for the rest of the NFL.
“Thanks to Roger Goodell, Tom Brady is going to kill us all,” one AFC defensive assistant said, via Mike Freeman of Bleacher Report.
“This Tom Brady scares the s–t out of me,” added an NFC defensive assistant.
In fact, pretty much everyone in the game Freeman spoke to believes that Brady is going to make his opponents very, very sad all season long.
We know that the Patriots are at their best when they have a chip on their shoulder. We also know Brady isn’t pleased with the NFL, even if he’s denied that certain protests were intentional. It’s probably a very rational fear. Opponents would not like angry Brady.
