NFL extends virtual offseason through end of May
NFL teams have been holding virtual offseason workouts since many remain under stay-at-home orders, and those virtual organized team activities are going to continue at least through the end of May.
The NFL’s initial virtual offseason program was supposed to last until May 15, but the league announced on Wednesday that those workouts will continue through at least May 29.
Meanwhile, the NFL provided an update for teams today on their virtual offseason, extending them another few weeks through May 29. Here is the memo: pic.twitter.com/Vy8Khxu1Od

The NFL sent out a memo last week outlining protocols for the re-opening of team facilities, but those are not being put into place just yet. While some local governments may permit teams to open their facilities sooner than others, Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin recently urged the NFL to not allow re-opening until all 32 teams are allowed to do so.
Certain states — like California — are expected to keep stay-at-home orders in place for several more weeks. If the NFL opts to not allow re-opening until all 32 teams have the option, training camp could wind up being postponed or canceled.
