Nick Bosa briefly addresses wearing MAGA hat to crash interview
Nick Bosa stirred up a controversy when he crashed an interview on “Sunday Night Football” by wearing a MAGA hat. The San Francisco 49ers defensive star addressed the matter briefly on Monday.
Bosa’s 49ers beat the Dallas Cowboys 30-24 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., on Sunday night. After the game, NBC’s Melissa Stark interviewed three 49ers players: Brock Purdy, George Kittle and Isaac Guerendo. Towards the beginning of the interview, Bosa popped in and pointed to his hat, which said “Make America Great Again” on it.

Bosa’s teammates were shaking their heads and laughing at what he had done.
Though Bosa made a bold move by crashing the interview, the subject matter was not something he wanted to elaborate on when asked about it the next day.
“I’m not gonna talk too much about it, but I think it’s an important time,” Bosa said Monday.

That was it.
There was another aspect of the situation that drew attention. NBC edited that part out when they posted the video to X, but they later added it after receiving backlash.
Bosa had 3 tackles including a sack in the game. He has 4.5 sacks this season, and Harris-Walz supporters probably now want to sack him.
